Here are some of our favourite ideas!
5 Healthy Halloween Treats
As always, we’re all about keeping things as simple as possible. These treats can be made with minimal effort and will have your table looking Pinterest-worthy in no time at all!
1. Ghastly bananas – One of the most popular recipes that we saw featured on numerous sites were banana ghosts. Simply cut a banana in half and gently shove chocolate chips or raisins into the banana to make eyes and a mouth.
2. Cheese and pretzel broomsticks -This three-ingredient treat requires a bit more handiwork than the other recipes we’ve shared, but the end result is worth it. Even though it’s a bit more complex, this recipe is far from being difficult!
3. Pumpkin veggie platter -Really this isn’t even a recipe, it’s simply throwing baby carrots, cucumbers, and dip on a plate in such a way that it resembles a jack-o-lantern. If you need them, here are some directions.
4. Mandarin orange pumpkins -Using either mandarin oranges or tangerines, this recipe for orange pumpkins uses only two ingredients and can be made by the kids!
5. Mummified mini pizzas – Want some hot food on your table as well? These snack-sized mummy pizzas look great and are definite kid-pleasers. Once again, this recipe is so easy that you can enlist your little trick or treater to be your prep cook for this task.
